Message from Mr Nelson Mendis

As the immediate past president of the Association of Past Employees of Singer, I am pleased to pen this message to thank all the members who have contributed to the association since its inauguration in the year 2000. I feel honored to mention the immense contribution made by our patron, Mr. Hemaka Amarasuriya, who inaugurated the association.

Further, it is my duty to mention the contribution by Mr. Berty Fernando, who was at the helm for 18 years as the founder president. I wish all the best to the newly elected president and the executive committee. May APES go from strength to strength.
